Menopause Life
Natural Cures and Remedies are my thing. Why? Because I've tried
both ways.. and I like the way that natural cures and remedies work!
I wish it was possible to stack the natural ways of healing up against
the results pharmaceuticals have had, but I know, that all to quickly,
someone would cast the net of lies and distortions to confuse the
facts.
It's big business, it's "fast food dispensary" and it's
wrong! Why is it wrong? Natural cures and natural remedies for health
issues have NO side effects attached to them. When have you ever
heard of the same being true of a drug?
I despise what the traditional medical community has become. And
it's not entirely their (doctors) fault. Medical schools are supported
in large part by the pharmaceutical companies (of course). We've
left the days of treating the "cause" of peoples symptoms
and exchanged it, to throwing pharmaceuticals at patients, like
a "milk bone to our dog."
There are not many issues a woman faces, that is more "mishandled"
by the traditional medical community than menopause. Women are given
pills that attack their symptoms, but also create worse problems
down the road.
For over 50 years, millions of women have received menopausal hormone
therapy to relieve hot flashes, and other discomforts caused by
menopause. Through the 1970’s, menopausal women received estrogen
to combat those symptoms. Premarin was the nation’s leading
menopausal drug. But in the 1970’s the scientific community
learned that Premarin causes endometrial cancer.
The drug company Wyeth was not going to watch its profits evaporate.
Wyeth convinced women that if they combined Premarin with another
drug, Provera, the endometrial cancer problem would disappear. They
told women that if they took the combination of Premarin and Provera,
that they would receive added protection to their heart, their bones,
that it would help prevent Alzheimer’s disease, depression,
and increase their sexual vitality. Wyeth turned the combination
of Premarin and Provera into a single pill, called “Prempro,”
and promoted it to many women as the "fountain of youth."
In July 2002, a federal study released findings that long-term
use of Prempro leads to increased risk of breast cancer, heart disease
and strokes. This study, called the Woman’s Health Initiative
(WHI), showed doctors that virtually everything that the pharmaceutical
companies had been telling them about the benefits and risks of
Prempro was a lie! For thousands of women, it was too late. Many
tragically developed breast cancer, and their lives forever changed.
A breast cancer epidemic had been created.
Menopause is the change of reproductive aging that usually starts
around the age of 40. A woman's period becomes less regular because
there is less production of estrogen and progesterone. These two
hormones are responsible for keeping the vagina and uterus healthy,
for the normal menstrual cycles and for successful pregnancy. Estrogen
also helps to keep bones healthy and good cholesterol levels.
Menopause can also be induced with the removal of the uterus (hysterectomy)
which stops periods and the removal of both ovaries (oophorectomy).
If that happens, menopause symptoms may start immediately, no matter
what the woman's age.
Instead of spending hundreds and up to thousands of dollars for
"hormone replacement therapy," there are natural herbs
that have been proven to be effective. If "horse urine"
is not "un-natural" enough to treat the symptoms of menopause,
I don't know what is! That is actually a part of the "hormonal
replacement." And a woman is NOT a horse!
If you're a lady nearing menopause or in menopause, here is a natural
cure.. a natural remedy for menopause.
